www.corollaguide.com is the best place to go for all the information you’ll need for your adventure in Corolla. Having said that
here’s a few other points of interest, although they are in the guide.
The Fruit Stand by the Cotton Gin (Corner of Sunset and Ocean Trail)
Very close to the house.
This is the best place to buy your fruits vegetables and FISH! I recommend
you only buy the local fish like Tuna, Mahi, Wahoo, Sea bass, etc. The local
fish have a red check mark by them on the board. The stand also makes homemade pies and cakes which we highly suggest!

Corolla Village Barbecue – The best local BBQ
1129 Corolla Village Road
We think this is some of the best local BBQ you can get in the area. The ribs are great! High Cotton is
good in Kitty Hawk but quite a distance to travel if not planned and can be a messy by the time you get it
home. The sides at CVB are great!! You have to get more cornbread. Maybe the best ever! Their just a
local Shack so you can call and they’ll tell you what they have or drop by and the order won't take long.
Metropolis- One of our favorites but please note they serve tapas style.
Ocean Club Centre
Metropolis is a great spot for an evening out at the beach if you want something different from a grill and bar atmosphere. This
contemporary tapas and martini bar offers an environment as urban and chic as the name suggests. The chef describes the
menu as American fusion, and they borrow exotic flavors of Asia. Metropolis has an extensive beer, wine and liquor menu. They’
re open until 2 a.m. and don’t have booster seats or a kid’s menu
Grouper’s Grille and Wine Bar- Very good as well. Can get pricey.
TimBuck II Shopping Village
Grouper’s, in the East building, is a Corolla favorite that’s been pleasing diners since 1996. The menu offers Angus beef, lean-
generation pork, regional and international seafood, pasta, vegetarian entrees, creative salads and house-made desserts, all
prepared with distinctive flair. Grouper’s wine list is extensive and offers a large by-the-glass selection. The restaurant has even
won the Wine Spectator award seven years in a row! The atmosphere is upscale but casual and is entirely smoke-free.

1587 Restaurant- Very romantic and great escape for two of you!
It’s a bit of a drive maybe 45 minutes but worth it especially if you’re not rushing to the beach.
405 Queen Elizabeth Avenue Manteo, NC 27954
At 1587, diners enjoy world-class chefs who blend the freshest of ingredients, including herbs grown from the Inn's own gardens,
